Aryans Group of Colleges holds Convocation

Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh holds its Convocation at PHD Chamber, Sector-31, Chandigarh, today to honor the Aryans Pass Outs with their Academic Degrees. Dr. Buta Singh, Dean Academics, Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar was the chief guest on the occasion. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman Aryans Group presided over the event. Around 100 MBA (2008-10) & BCA (2007-10) students of Aryans were awarded degrees.
The convocation started with lightening of the lamp followed by the prayer. Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group presented the annual report of college & highlighted the vision of the institute for future. She read out the achievements of the college highlighting the quality education & placements by various top companies.
While presiding over the function, the chief guest Dr. Buta Singh motivated the students to acquire excellence in their chosen field to move forward in their lives and contribute to nation building. Dr. Singh also urged the students to step out of restricted thinking and explore the opportunities in the current global scenario.
While congratulating the students Dr. Anshu Kataria said that “The World is waiting for people who are able to think, analyze and apply and I can proudly say that these young talents will make great progress and positively impact business and society in the coming years”.
“As the Indian Economy is integrating with the World, it requires Managers with a Global perspective. An interdisciplinary approach within the students is the need of the hour and keeping this perspective in mind, Aryans concentrates on producing holistic individuals”, Dr. Kataria Further added.
Dr. Manjula Kataria gave ‘vote of thanks ‘to the Chief Guest for sparing his valuable time to address, motivate and encourage the ` managers. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Prof. D. C. Kataria, Vice- Chairman; Mrs. Rajni Kataria, Treasurer; Dr. D. P. Singh, Director; Prof. K. K. Mangla, Dr. A.S. Balgir and many others. At last the event ended up with the declaration of the closing of the Convocation followed by the National Anthem.
