Aryans College of Education celebrated World AIDS Day today by holding a rally in nearby villages. Around 90 B.Ed students participated in the rally. The event was presided over by Dr Manjula Kataria, Principal, Aryans College of Education. It is to be mentioned that World Aids Day is celebrated on 1st December

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manjula Kataria said that the purpose of the rally was to make the people of the area aware of the dangers of AIDS and the measures to avoid this dreadful disease. Dr. Kataria inspired the participants of the rally by motivating them to work whole-heartedly in the campaign against AIDS.

It is to be mentioned that the rallyists took a procession through villages- Nepra, Alampur and Thuha  and took prominent villagers like Sarpanches  and Panches with them.

The students also met the residents of these villages and explained them the dangers of this disease, throwing light on the measures to escape this dangerous disease. The villagers took a keen interest in the activities of the students.

It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans campus is located at Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh. The group is running Management College, Engineering College, Education College, Nursing College & Junior Science College (+1 & +2 Non Medical).
