Hundreds of students participate on first day

“JK Admission Counseling” being organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh in Srinagar got a sterling response on first day. Hundreds of students attended the counseling. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh announced the July Admissions-2014 in a Press Conference at Hotel Lala Rukh in Srinagar yesterday. He also announced a special chance for those 24000+ JK students who got reappear in +2 exams in 2014.
Dr Kataria told that in JK in 10+2 final exam Result 2014, out of 51391 candidates enrolled for the examination, only 26763 candidates could pass. He added that all those students who have reappear in one subject, can take admission on the basis of merit in other passed subjects. These students have to clear their reappear exam before September.
Dr. Kataria further added that Aryans is becoming a hot spot of education for the students of North India. Most of the students of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) come to Chandigarh for higher education. The Aryans campus is becoming mini Kashmir with number of students from Kashmir increasing with time. Students mostly focus on Aryans as along with seminars, Guest lecturers etc. Aryans also organize various cultural Programmes like Rajni, Roshaan, Sayonara etc. in which Kashmir’s students perform their traditional dances like Rabab, Hafiza etc. This gives the platform to the students to show their culture in other states also.
Dr Anshu Kataria also told that around 125 JK students have taken admission in January Batch of Aryans in various courses like B.Tech 1st Year (Civil, Mechanical, CSE, EEE & ECE), B.Tech (LEET) , M.Tech (Civil, Mechanical), MBA,PGDM, BBA, BCA, B.Ed,+1(Non-Medical) etc. He added that with this, Aryans has topped the list of Colleges in Punjab having highest number of admissions in January Batch 2014. He further said that many JK students have also registered their seats for July-2014.
It is to be mentioned that Established in 2007, Aryans campus is located at Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh on lush green 20 acres pollution free campus. The group is running Management College, Under Graduate College, Engineering College, Nursing College, Education College & Junior Science College (+1 & +2 Non Medical).
