Aryans Himachali Students shine in 9th Cultural Extravaganza “Rajni” organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh. Sh. Madan Mohan Mittal, Minister, Technical Education & Industrial Training, Punjab was the Chief Guest on the occasion.  Sh. Sanjay Tandon, President, BJP and Sh. Deepak Dhiman, State Editor, Dainik Bhaskar Group were the Guests of Honour on the occasion while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided over the event.

Students of B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, BA, B.Com, GNM, Polytechnic Diploma students participated in the colorful cultural items and mesmerized the whole crowd with their performances. Renowned Comedian, Amritpal Singh(Chotu) impressed and enthralled the audience with his comedy style.

The function commenced with the Lamp Lighting ceremony by the Aryans Group patrons Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria and Mrs. Rajni Kataria followed by Devotional Shiv Tandav by Himanshu & group. Students of Himachal Pradesh namely Sonali, Devinder, Hitender, Mritunjay performed Naati, which is a very prominent dance form of Kullu District Chamba folk dance, and much more. Students were dressed up in their traditional dresses. Many Folk songs were also sung by the students.

Dr. Anshu Kataria speaking on the occasion said that Aryans Group has students from all over India who are studying in various courses. The students presented their respective cultures through their dances in the function. He added that besides studies, extra co-curricular activities are equally important. They help in the overall development of the students.
  
It is to be mentioned that various cultural activities performed by students like Bhangra by Gaganpreet and group, Dark monster dance by Parveen and Nariya. Hip Hop dance by Dharma and group brought the audience onto their heels. Gidda by Lovpreet and Group was the centre of attraction. Save Girls Skit by Manpreet and group delivered right message to the audience.

Showing the cultures of different states, Naati performed by Mritunjay and group while Nausheen and group presented Kashmiri Dance. Shubham and group performed Kashmiri Dance, Rupika and group performed Haryanvi Dance, Bhojpuri dance by Md Shahzad.Jhumar Folk dance by Sukhi and group while Mast Punjaban Girls performed by Manpreet and group and string dance performed by Sayed Ali and group.

Also present on the occasion were Dr. (Mrs.) Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group; Dr. Manjula Kataria, Principal, Aryans College of Education; Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group; Prof. A.P Jain, Director, Aryans Group and many others.
