Punjab
Chandigarh 2nd January
Aryans
Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today organized a programme to launch January
Batch Admissions in Punjab. Technical Education Minister, Punjab, Sh. Madan
Mohan Mittal was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Dr. Anshu Kataria,
Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided over the function.
For
January Batch Admissions, Minister launched the poster and toll free helpline
number i.e. 1800 30000 388 for the students. Interested students can give a
missed call on the same to get more information about the admission criteria.
Mittal while
launching the poster said that both the technical Universities i.e IKG-PTU,
Jalandhar and MRS-PTU, Bathinda have already issued the notification regarding
the January Batch admissions in Punjab. As per the new decision by both the
Universities the students would be able to save their six valuable months,
however the course would be completed in same duration as prescribed by AICTE.
Mittal
further said that with this decision, the Universities have taken an initiative
to make Punjab an Education Hub. In foreign Universities there are
already summer and winter sessions but in India we have only July batch.
IKG-PTU and MRS-PTU have taken good initiative by introducing January Batch for
admission in Punjab also.
Dr
Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that this new scheme
would help thousands of students of the region who could not take admission in
July 2015 Batch due to any reason. Not only Punjab, but the students
of other states also specially HP, Haryana & JK where no such opportunity
is available, can also take benefit of this scheme.
Dr
Kataria added that under January 2016 batch students can
take admission in various courses like B.Tech, Leet, MBA, BBA, BCA in Aryans till
18th January 2016.Students who are already admitted in 1st
semester in other Colleges or Universities can also directly migrate in 2nd semester
in Aryans.
He
further said that admissions would be open only for few seats which remained
vacant against the AICTE sanctioned intake in July 2015 Batch. Those
students who couldn’t seek admission in July 2015 Batch due to any
reason can now get admission in January 2016 batch. This would
help result into saving of their precious 1 academic session and student needs
not to wait for July-2016.
