Aryans group of Colleges (AGC) today organized Staff Development Programme (SDP) at the college campus, at Vill. Nepra, Chandigarh-Patiala highway, near Chandigarh. Faculty member of Aryans group of colleges & many other institutions participated in the programme. The SDP was organized on the topic “Importance of time and stress control techniques”. Dr.Ajay Kumar Garg, Faculty, Indian Institute of Management (IIM),Lucknow was the key note speaker in the Staff Development Programme.
Dr. A. S. Balgir, one of the speaker said that the occupational stress and the challenges that have become major workplace issues. He emphasized on the proper time management, use of HR activities, training and development techniques to ensure a balanced approach to avoid stress. Some stress has become normal part of life but excessive stress interferes with the productivity and reduces physical and emotional health, so it’s important to find ways to keep it under control, Dr. Balgir further added. He also said, Stress management is a collection of skills, tools, and techniques that help you to reduce, manage, and even counteract the negative side-effects of stress.
Dr. Anshu Kataria (Chairman, Aryans Group), Prof. D.C.Kataria , Vice Chairman , Aryans Group ; Dr (Mrs.) Praveen Kataria (Director General, Aryans Group );Dr.K.K. Mangla , Dr.D.P. Singh and Dr.Manjit Kalra were present during the programme.
