Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges has been appointed as the convener of the Sub - Committee on Education by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI).
Giving this info to press Sh. Dalip Sharma, Regional Director of PHDCCI, Chandigarh said that in India there is a huge gap between the type of manpower required in the industry and the type of manpower being produced by the Educational Institutions. Our organization wants to play an important role between Industry, Academia and regulatory bodies.
After being appointed as the convener, Dr. Anshu Kataria thanked PHDCCI for the faith imposed in him for the vital position and assured that he will do his best to improve the educational awareness and standard in North India and will try to bring education as close to industry as possible.
Dr. Anshu Kataria said that Sub - Committee would work towards bridging the gap between the institute and the industry sector by focusing on industry academia partnership program, placement opportunities, career counselling camps, Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDP’s), Management Development Programs (MDP’s) etc.
Dr. Anshu Kataria (34) is a product of University Business School (UBS) PU, Chandigarh. He started his career as a Govt. College Lecturer and worked for various Educational Institutions. In 2007 he started his own project namely Aryans Business School (ABS). Today ABS is one of the leading B-Schools of the Chandigarh region.
