Chandigarh 9th July, 2010Chandigarh based MBA focused Aryans Group of Colleges has become the first private AICTE approved B-School in Punjab & Chandigarh region to get approval for admitting NRI students in MBA course. Under this 6 students in Aryans Business School (ABS) & 6 in Aryans School of Management (ASM) would be admitted. Few students from Djibouti, Africa are already pursuing BBA course from Aryans. This was stated by Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while addressing a press conference in Chandigarh Press Club.
Dr. Kataria said that Aryans would hold special counseling sessions in some Asian & African countries. At the same time efforts would be made to attract students from such countries where Indians are already living.Dr. Kataria added that US based already Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) & Educational Testing Services (ETS) have given nod to Aryans to use GMAT & GRE scores for admitting students.
It is to be mentioned that a team of Aryans Group is on one month educational trip to London. The team will be visiting and studying the various aspects of the educational institutes including admission process, infrastructure, teaching methodology, extra-curricular activities, faculty, Research & Development, etc.
Dr. Kataria said that in last three years, Aryans team has visited many B Schools of South East Asia, Middle East including IMT and SP Jain Business School, Dubai; SASIN Business School, Bangkok; SP Jain Business School, Singapore etc. The team has also visited some SAARC countries including Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka etc for counseling of students.
Dr. Kataria added that earlier students were moving to foreign countries in pursuit of higher education and job opportunities but now they are returning back because now India has more exposure and opportunities. Expressing pleasure on becoming first in the region to get approval for NRI seats, he said that with this, Aryans would get a platform to exhibit its talent and leadership in the world.
Aryans Business School (ABS) offers regular MBA degree program which is approved by AICTE and affiliated to PTU, Jalandhar. The institute has entered into number of Tie-ups /Collaborations with Foreign institutions such as Outline System (USA); LSME (London); & Fontys University (Netherlands) to provide students the opportunities of education abroad & to expose them to international education standards & employment opportunities.
