Students of Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) displayed their talent in the talent hunt programme organized on Wednesday. Newly admitted students spell bound the audience by exhibiting extraordinary talents. Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.
Aryans Group of Colleges located on Chandigarh Patiala highway, near Banur, Vill Nepra organized this cultural programme in which Various Cultural activities were performed by students including Skit, Bhangra, Giddha, Solo Song, Solo Dance, Modeling, etc. Comedy, pot painting and various kinds of dance performances were also performed.
Dr.Anshu Kataria said that the institute would always welcome such gestures of the students and the institute would encourage the students to organize such events more frequently. He further added that such events are necessary in the professional institutions as they instill confidence and sense of responsibility in the students.Dr. D.P.Singh, Director, Aryans Group paid a vote of thanks.
In “solo singing” Ambreen of MBA I won the first position Pallavi of MBA I was second and Chetanya of BBA I was adjudged third. In “solo dances” category Pallavi of MBA I won the first position, Kshitij of BBA I was second and Jasveen of MBA I bagged third position. In “group dances” category MBA I group won and the group included Rashmi, Himanshi, Shivani and Jasveen.
Richa (MBA 1) stood first in “Best out of Waste” and Manpreet (MBA 1) bagged first position in “pot making”. Akhwinder (MBA1) stood first in “Flower making competition” and Shristi(MBA 1) in “Mehndi competition”. Hardeep Singh (MBA 1) won first prize in “Comedy”.Chand,Pallavi and himanshi stood first ,Second, third respectively in “Compereing”.
Also present on the occasion were Prof. D. C. Kataria, Vice- Chairman; Mrs. Rajni Kataria, Treasurer; Dr. (Mrs.) Parveen Kataria, Principal; Prof. K. K. Mangla, Dr. A.S. Balgir, Dr.D.P.Singh (all Directors).
