Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) today organized “Brain Buster-2011”- an Inter College Business Quiz Competition in College campus. Around 15 teams participated in this competition which included teams from Chitkara, Gurukul, SVIET, GJIMT, Rayat & Bahra, CGC, Desh Bhagat Group, Gulzar Group, Swami Devi Dayal, Quest, Guru Nanak Dev (Ludhiana) etc.
Congratulating the winners, Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group announced the results. Guru Nanak Dev (Ludhiana) fetched the 1st position. Chitkara stood second and SVIET secured the 3rd position. Dr.Kataria gave away prizes to the winning teams at the end of the day.
In starting, a prelim written test round was conducted in which all the teams participated. 8 teams were selected on the basis of marking of written test who played 6 round Business Quiz. First 3 rounds were for all the 8 teams. In 1st round, management questions were asked from the participants. 2nd round was Personality Identification round and 3rd round was Brand Ambassador Identification round. After 3rd round, 1 team was eliminated and rest 7 teams played the 4th round which was Tagline & Logo Identification round. 5th round was played by 6 teams which was advertisement identification round. Last round was Rapid fire round which was played by the top 5 teams.
Aryans students arranged many management games which were played side by side by the students. Games like 1 min. continuous laughing, bindi pasting, picture puzzle, find your luck were the main attraction. A lot of enthusiasm was seen among the students playing the games. Attractive prizes were also there for the winners of the games.
