Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) today celebrated its 5th foundation day at Chandigarh Press Club, Sec.27, Chandigarh. On the occasion, students, staff and management organized cultural programme. The celebration started with the cake cutting ceremony by Mrs. Rajni Kataria, Finance Secretary of Aryans Group as the day also happens to be her birthday. Various cultural items were performed on the occassion including antakshri, Solo Songs, Group Songs, Dance, tambola, musical chair, passing balls etc. Winners were given prizes also. A special session of employees sharing heartfelt messages about their experiences at Aryans added a special touch to the occasion.
Dr.Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that group has achieved many milestones in last four years. There has been a tremendous change in this time period. Aryans Business School (ABS) has become the 1st private AICTE approved B - School of North India which has got the approval to use GMAT , GRE, CAT and XAT Scores from GMAC ( USA ) ,ETS ( USA ), IIM's and XLRI respectively. The Group has recently been awarded the Best Upcoming B-School of North India by the renowned Magazine "Business and Management Chronicle". Dr. Kiran Bedi (First Women IPS) awarded ABS Chandigarh as Best Upcoming B - School of North India in the Times Research Education Excellence Awards Ceremony 2010.ABS has also been ranked 48th among top Pvt.B Schools in India by Bhaskar.
Dr.Kataria thanked students and staff for their support extended in last 4 years. He said that started in 2007, now Aryans Group offers MBA, PGDM, Executive MBA, BBA, BCA , B.Sc(IT) and B.Ed .The Group is going to start B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Electronic, Computer Science and Electrical Engg. from this academic session. Adding to this, he said that "We still have a long way to go and we have to continuously evolve to move in the right direction."
