112 candidates gets jobs in “ Mega
Job Fest” organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh in association with
SSM College of Engineering & Technology, Srinagar, today , in SSM Campus,
Srinagar. A total of 1350 candidates appear for around 17 companies. The fest
was inaugurated by Dr. Anshu kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group & Dr.Shabir
qazi, Chairman, SSM College. Many Companies provided offer letter to the
candidates on the spot.
Dr. Kataria said that this is an
effort to bridge the gap between the employers and the potential employees. Dr.
Kataria further stated that the fest “got an overwhelming response and was
fruitful for the students as well” who got an excellent opportunity for a mega
placement bonanza even they are freshers. Dr. kataria further added that that
last year more than 150 companies visited Aryans campus in various job fests/
campus recruitment drive, now in 2012 Aryans is planning to invite around 250
companies for various recruitment drives.
Mr. Mehboob Makhdoomi, Dean SSM
College said that Srinagar School of Management (SSM) was established during
1988, which was the first step towards privatization of technical education in
J&K state. He further added that it is herculean to attract companies to
visit Kashmir for campus recruitment because of myths of insecurity in the
valley and said that this stereotype needs to be broken and companies should
come here and use Kashmiri talent in their companies. He appealed to the
corporate sector of India and abroad not to sideline Kashmiri job seekers for
no fault of theirs and assured his complete coordination to any
conglomerate wishing to recruit in the valley. He has himself come back from
the United States to aid the education sector in Kashmir.
Mr. Makhdoomi further said that many
national & international companies including Antareer Pvt.Ltd, Aska Soft
Solutions, AK Speak Wireless, Competent, Dun Web Services, Dominos, HDFC Bank,
Inert IT Pvt. Ltd, Netcom Solutions, Leeward Graphics Pvt. Ltd, Leosoft
Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Max New York, Net shell Solutions, Kochar Info, Tulip
Telecom Pvt. Ltd, Universal HRD Consultancy, V-Node etc. participated in the
fest.
It is to be mentioned that Earlier
also, Dr. Kiran Bedi, 1st Woman IPS of India, has awarded ABS as the Best
upcoming B-School of North India. Apart from this, Dr.Anshu Kataria, Chairman,
Aryans Group got Young Entrepreneurship award by Thailand Labor Minister. Many
reputed personalities like Dr. Kiran Bedi, S.Joginder Singh (Ex Director, CBI)
etc. have visited Aryans campus several times. Earlier also Aryans Business
School (ABS) has been ranked 48th in India by Dainik Bhaskar. ABS has recently
been awarded the best upcoming B-School of North India by the renowned Magazine
"Business and Management Chronicle" and Dr. Kiran Bedi, 1st Woman IPS
of India, has also awarded ABS as the best upcoming B-School of North India.
ABS has also been ranked 71st by MBA Universe.com
To expose the students to
international education standards, employment facilities and opportunities of
education abroad Aryans Group has entered into number of tie-ups /
collaborations with foreign institutions such as Outline System (USA); LSME
(London); AUPP (Australia) & Fontys University (Netherland). It is to
be mentioned that Aryans Group of Colleges is GMAT, GRE and XAT allied college
of this region also the college uses CAT and MAT scores for admitting the
candidates. The college has in its name the prestigious membership of
Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business’ (AACSB), USA. In India
only 22 Business Schools are the members of AACSB. The college is also
having membership of CII, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, CMA
and AIMA

Established in 2007, Aryans campus is located at Chandigarh–Patiala highway,
near Chandigarh on lush green 20 acres pollution free campus. The group is
running MBA, BBA-BCA, B.Ed, Engineering College & Junior Science College
