In the year 2012, a new record was scripted by Aryans Group
of Colleges, Chandigarh in the field of placements. Around 350 companies
participated in different Job Fests organized by Aryans Group. This number of participating
companies is one of the highest in the region.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said
that Aryans has not only made a name in the field of academics but also in placements.
He said that many famous companies participated in different Job Fests and in
different placement drives. He added that these Job Fests were not only for Aryans
students but for the students of other colleges also. He also announced that
this year Aryans would invite more than 500 companies in that campus.
Mr. B.S Sidhu, Registrar added that in the year 2012, Aryans
Group organized many Job Fests and placement drivers including Aryans Mega Job
fests in 9th February 2012, 2nd March 2012, 25th
July 2012, 31st August 2012, 18th September 2012 and 18th December
2012. He added that this kind of Job Fests provide an excellent opportunity of
direct communication between the Job providers and Job seekers under one roof.
Prof. A.P. Jain, Director, Aryans Group of Colleges further
said that aiming to generate placements for polytechnic diploma holders and ITI
trained students; Aryans also organized exclusively Job Fests for Polytechnic
students where hundreds students got jobs. He assured that Aryans would focus
on studies as well as on placements to fill the gap between colleges and
industries.

Ms Varinder Kaur, Co-ordinator, Aryans Group said that after academics
now placements are the strongest point for Aryans Group of Colleges.
