Around 60 Aryans JK students get Government's MHRD & MOMA Scholarship

59 JK students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh got Scholarship disbursement. Out of these, 30 students got scholarship from Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and 29 students got Scholarship from Ministry of Minority Affairs (MOMA).


Giving this information, Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has transferred the grant of MHRD Scholarship to Aryans Group for 30 students including Sajad Ahmad Rather ,Ishfaq Ahmad Rather,Tahid Nazir Rather,Syed Ishfaq Hussian,Sajid Hassan Bhat,Zakir Mushtaq Khan, Minya Tufail Bhat,Shahid Manzoor Bhat, Zakir Zaman Sofi ,Javaid Ahmad Sheikh ,Ishaq Rashid,Mohd Arif, Aaqib Fayaz Gojree, Geetu devi, Kapil gorka, Jagdish Raj, Shahid ul islam,Sameer Ahmad Bhat,Aadil Gulzar,Basit Bashit Badroo,Irfan Manzoor Sheikh,Javeed Muhammad Dar,Hazim Hamid Dar, Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat ,Aamir Bashir Bhat,Zafar Iqbal,Ahanger,Azfar Ali Malik,Junaid Ahmad Bhat ,Adil Hussain Khan ,AKther Iqbal Bedar.


 He added that Aryans Group has also received the cheques of 29 students who got the disbursement of MOMA Scholarship. The students are Adil Husain Khan ,Aaquib Ahmad Khan ,Akhter iqbal bedar, Irfan Ahmad Bhat ,Shahid Ul Islam, Manzoor Ahmad ,Sajid Hasan, Shahiq Altaf Husain ,Showkat Ahmad ,Ajaz Ahmad ,,Ajaz Ahmad Hurrah ,Masood Yasin ,Junaid Ahmad Bhat ,Raof Ul Hameed Wani ,Sameer Ahmad Bhat ,Aadil Gulzar, Maajeed Sadiq ,Adil Husain Khan, Ishfaq Hameed Bhat, Irshad Ahmad Bhat, Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, Naaseer Ul Islam , Muzafar Ahmad Wani ,Zakir Mushtaq, Javaid Ahmad Sheikh, Sajad ahmad Rather, Javeed Mohd Dar, Ishfaq Ahmad Rather ,Tahid Nazir Rather.


Dr Kataria further said that Aryans Group of Colleges has become first choice of the students of Jammu and Kashmir. Majority of students in Aryans Group of Colleges are from the valley who are studying in various Professional courses like B.Tech 1st Year (Civil, Mechanical, CSE, EEE & ECE), B.Tech (LEET) , MBA/PGDM, BBA, BCA, B.Ed ,M.Tech Polytechnic,+1(Non-Medical).
  
 
Dr. Kataria said that the students coming under minority category in India like Sikhs, Muslims, Buddhists, Jainism and Parsi can avail the benefit of Ministry of Minority Affairs (MOMA) scholarship which is meant for the welfare and for financial assistance to brilliant students of minority class to obtain higher as well as professional qualification. 


He further said that above Post Matric Scholarship Scheme's main objective is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.


It is worth mentioning that Aryans Group has been awarded for “Excellence in Education” by Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, Former President; Sh. Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab; Sh. Shivraj V Patil, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator Chandigarh; Dr. Kiran Bedi, First Women IPS Officer of India; S. Joginder Singh, Ex-Director, CBI etc. The Group has also been honoured for “Excellence in career building” by Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Minister of State for Human Resource Development, India.

The group is running Management College, Under Graduate College, Engineering College, Nursing College, Education College & Junior Science College (+1 & +2 Non Medical).
