Aryans Group of Colleges invites applications from HP girls under "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao”
The scheme was launched by Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh to support HP Girls

Aryans College of Engineering Chandigarh today announced the last date of filing the applications under special scholarship scheme "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" for the girls of Himachal Pradesh. Interested girls can apply for the scholarship before 20 June by giving a missed call on the toll free helpline i.e 1800-30000-388.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that under this scheme Aryans will shortlist 50 girls of HP in which 50% of scholarship will be provided by the college and rest 50% will be financed in shape of Education Loan on Engineering and Diploma Courses. Recently Chief Minister, HP, Sh. Virbhadra Singh launched this scholarship for HP Girls.
Kataria further added that the scholarship will be provided on merit cum means basis. The scheme will enable the financially constrained girls to explore their potential in engineering and technology fields who either are choosing short term and courses. Apart from this, girls can also apply for various scholarship schemes to persue their higher Education in other courses like MBA, GNM, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.A etc.
Ms. Shashi, Media coordinator while speaking on the occasion said that keeping in mind that 12th board result of HP has been out, Aryans will also provide free career counseling and orientation session to the students to guide them for better careers options.
She further added that around 2500 students from all over the country are pursuing their higher education under various scholarship schemes provided by Aryans. Few of the schemes are Dr.Kiran Bedi scholarship, scholarship for Army personnel, BetiBachao, Beti Padhao scholarship, scholarship for tribal area students.
Ms. Ashima, Academic coordinator said, “girls are doing well in sports, education, health sectors and agriculture but the ratio is very less in technical courses due to their less interest, High fee structure. The Scheme will encourage girls to explore their potential in engineering and technology fields with lesser fee structure at Aryans.”
