Aryans Group of
Colleges to give free tablets to the tribal students of Himachal Pradesh
Over 500 students of Himachal Pradesh
are already studying at Aryans
Under its Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR) plan, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh has decided to give free tablets to the tribal students of Himachal Pradesh. These
tabs will be given to the students on opting 1st year course either in B.Tech,
B.Tech (Leet) or MBA at Aryans Campus. The interested students can call and
register themselves on Aryans Toll free helpline 1800-30000-388.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans
Group of Colleges while addressing the press conference at Shimla today said
that the Government provides free education to the tribal students under Post
Matric scholarship scheme. But being economically weak, these students cannot
afford Hi Tech gadgets to explore the technology even during their study
period.
Kataria further added that Aryans has
taken this initiative with an aim to encourage economically weak students of
tribal areas from Himachal to build their career in engineering and technology
field. The group will support these students so they can compete with the fast
growing technological era.
Dr Parveen Kataria, Director General,
Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that Hundreds of students from
HP are already studying at Aryans under various courses. Not only in academics
but these students are actively participating in sports, cultural and
innovations.
Ms Punika Mahajan, Academic
coordinator, Aryans Group said that Aryans has started its admissions for 9th academic session under various Government and Non Government
scholarship schemes for needy and deserving students. The group is offering
B.Tech, B.Tech (Leet), MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Ed, BA, GNM, Polytechnic Diploma
etc.
