Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today announced 100 fresh scholarships for JK Students. This scholarship will be given to 50 girls and 50 boys in which 50% scholarship will be provided by Aryans and rest 50% will be financed in the shape of education loan. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges while addressing a press conference held today at Hotel City Centre, Srinagar said that the scholarship will be exclusively on merit cum means basis. The students can avail the scholarship on completing their Engineering and Diploma courses at Aryans Campus.

Kataria further said that Aryans has already started admissions for its 9thbatch in various courses like B.Tech, LEET, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.COM, BA, B.Ed, BA, Polytechnic Diploma etc. The Group will admit 300 students from JK: 100 under scholarship and 200 under general in this session. Around 1000 students from the valley are already studying in Aryans. 

He further said that Aryans JK students have achieved many milestones in the field of academics, sports, cultural, innovations etc. In Academics, these students have won laurels for the Group by securing top positions in PTU Merit list.

Mr. Himanshu, Coordinator & HOD Civil Dept, Aryans Group while giving information about the innovations made by Aryans JK Students said that Four Kashmiri girls were honored by CM Punjab for developing Aryans Android App in a gathering of more than 50,000 students; Life Saving Glove developed by four Aryans Engineering JK Students has got the appreciation from Fortis Hospital; Aryans Save Kashmir App was launched by Technical Education Minister, Punjab, Sh. Madan Mohan Mittal.

Recently 5 engineering students of JK studying at Aryans College have developed a unique GPS and GSM based Safety Helmet. The project was launched and applauded by Governor, Punjab & Haryana, Sh. Kaptan Singh Solanki. This innovative project of the Aryans Kashmiri students aims to provide timely first aid facility in case disaster happens at construction/ mining/ industrial sites.

To provide quality education to its students Aryans has entered into many foreign collaborations and tie ups with foreign universities/colleges. This year the college has signed MoU with many renowned colleges of Vancouver, Singapore few of which are Sprott Shaw College, Six Capital, Loyalist College, Pearson Education Services etc.

To support financially weaker sections of the society Aryans has started many scholarship schemes. The group is admitting students under Dr. Kiran Bedi Scholarship scheme, Gen JJ Singh scholarship scheme for wards of Army personnel, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme launched by Union Minister, Sh. Vijay Sampla; CM, Himachal Pradesh, Sh. Virbhadra Singh for the girls of hilly areas; Governor, Uttrakhand, Sh. KK Paul for the Uttrakhand girls etc.

It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans campus is located on Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20 acres pollution free campus. Aryans Group has been serving the educational and intellectual interests of the youth in a commendable manner. The group is running Management College, Business School, Engineering College, Education College, Degree College, Nursing College and Junior Science College (+1 & +2 Non Medical). 

It is worth mentioning that Aryans Group has been awarded for “Excellence in Education” by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Former President; Sh. Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab; Sh.
