Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh organized a tree plantation drive by planting hundreds of saplings in 20 acre campus. After which Staff & Management took a pledge to conserve and protect natural habitats. During the drive, Dr.Anshu Kataria, Chairman Aryans Group stressed upon the importance of conserving nature by using eco-friendly commodities, pollution free solar devices and reusing materials.
Expressing his views Dr.Kataria said that we need to preserve the nature for the benefit of the future generation. He further added that each one should look after the plants planted by him/her and also encourage others to plant one tree in their homes, villages and towns.
Prof. D.C.Kataria (Vice- Chairman, Aryans Group) said that By this way we can put our efforts to reduce the Global Warming and the excessive Carbon dioxide and Green house effect. He further said that this initiative has been taken to generate interest about environment amongst students, teachers, employees and residents.
Dr.Parveen Kataria (Director General, Aryans Group) said that the tree plantation drive will motivate and encourage the people to love trees and play their part in protection of environment. “It is a very small step for each of us to take to ensure that a healthier, safer, cleaner and greener environment”, she further added.
