Colorful Teej festival was celebrated in the Aryans Group of Colleges at its campus at Chandigarh – Patiala, Near Chandigarh with Traditional fervour. The function included Punjabi dance performances, giddha and other cultural items.
“The festival is a glimpse of rich Punjabi cultural heritage, which seems to be taking a backseat these days”, said Dr.Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group. Dr.Kataria further talked about the socio-economic importance of Teej and stressed on the need to remain in touch with the culture of Punjab and preserve it.
Prof. D.C.Kataria, vice Chairman, Aryans Group said that efforts should be made to revive the culture and customs of the old Punjabi traditions in form of Punjabi Folk.
Dr. Parveen Kataria , Director General Aryans Group, Dr.D.P.Singh, Director & staff Members were also grace the occasion.
