Aryans Institute of Nursing celebrates oath
day

Aryans Institute of Nursing, Chandigarh holds oath ceremony day
for its first batch of GNM students at its campus. The program was attended by
all nursing students of Aryans and senior faculty members including Dr. A.L.
Gaaba, Director, Aryans Group; Prof. B.S. Sidhu, Registrar; Dr. Manjula
Kataria, Principal; Mr. Tarsaim Kumar, Dean Academics etc.
The function commenced
with the lamp lighting ceremony. After the lamp lighting ceremony Director,
Aryans Group addressed the students and told them about the valuable
contribution of the nurses to the society.
The students of Aryans
Institute of Nursing took the Oath to serve the society with their profession
during their studies as well as after the completion of their course. Nursing
students of 1st , 2nd and 3rd year namely Avinash Kaur, Neetu, Gagan Khanna, Mona Bajwa,
Shilpa, Komal Minhas, Himani Negi, Lalit Kumar, Paramjeet Chand etc shared
their views and initiatives taken by them including serving the old people near
them, regular check-up of the college workers etc.
Prof. B.S Sidhu while
motivating the students said that the role of nurse in the health sector in
every part of the world is very important as they serve mankind and God, he
said. He further said that each and every person needs someone to take care
when they are admitted to the hospital. The nurses take care of them as patient
in every possible ways day and night, he said
Dr. A.L. Gaaba,
Director, Aryans Group appreciated the measures taken by the students for the
welfare of the society. He also appealed to the students of the institute who
had taken oath to work hard with full dedication for the welfare of the society
and let the patient feel their presence through their caring during their
period of treatment.
