Bhagwant Mann demands more scholarship schemes
in budget 2016
Bhagwant Mann was the key note speaker at Aryans seminar
“Empowering Young India through Union Budget-2016”

Renowned comedian and Member Parliament, Sangrur, Bhagwant Mann
today interacted with the students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh on
“Empowering Young India through Union Budget-2016”.He was the Chief Guest and
key note speaker in the seminar being organized today at Aryans campus. Dr.
Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the seminar.

Mann while interacting with the students said that India can become super power
only if its youth is empowered. He asserted that education should be the top
priority in any budget. He said that because of the poor policies of the State
Government and delay of scholarship amount in Punjab, the students, parents,
and colleges are facing hardships.
Mann
further assured that he will try to persuade Union Government to start new
scholarship schemes for different categories of the students. Not only this, he
said that he will raise voice for those students who are finding it tough to
get education loan from banks. He asked Government to start giving interest
free education loan to the students.
Earlier
in his speech Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group requested Bhagwant Mann
to raise issues various including Scholarship for Punjab OBC students, Release
of pending amount of SC Scholarship of 2014-15 and full amount of 2015-16 year,
delay in MHRD scholarship, full scholarship to minority students, Scholarship
for economic weaker sections of the society, Interest free education loan etc.
Mann
while further interacting with the students said that Start-Up India, Stand-Up
India is not only enough, Government should fund every young entrepreneur who
wants to start any type of business so the students should try to become job
providers rather than job seekers.
While
motivating the students, Mann further said that youth should build leadership
qualities and play active role in diagnosing and solving the problems at his
village, city, state and country.
