Aryans, Chandigarh & Rosemine, Patna Join hands for a new Scholarship Scheme

To empower the students and strengthen the education for the students of minority communities, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh has signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rosemine Educational & Charitable Trust, Patna.


The MoU has been signed between Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Dr. Anshu Kataria and Chairman, Rosemine Educational & Charitable Trust. A press conference was also organized today in Hotel, The Panache, South Gandhi Maidan, Patna.


Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that 50 minority students of Patna would be selected under this 100% scholarship scheme in engineering courses. Kataria added that Govt universities have approved 90,000/- as the annual fees for engineering courses which comes out to be 3.6 lakhs for the 4 years course. Aryans would give a scholarship of Rs 1.8 cr for those selected students.

Kataria further added that the scholarship would be given on merit cum means basis. He said that Aryans is offering B.Tech, LEET, MBA, BCA, BBA, BA, B.Com, B.Sc (Agri), BA-LLB, LLB, MA (Edu) courses  at its campus in which students can opt for various other scholarship schemes. Kataria further added that Aryans is the only campus near Chandigarh having more than 3000 students out of which nearly 1500 students belong to economically weaker sections of minority community of Bihar including Muslims Sikh, Parsi, & Christians. 

Kataria further appreciated the role and work done by Rosemine educational trust in past years to uplift the stature of technical education among the students of Bihar, Jharkhand etc. “Recently Mr. Awais Amber, Chairman of the trust has been awarded for this contribution by the Ex- Governor of Andaman & Nicobar, Gen. A.K Singh in a function held at Aryans Campus” Kataria added.


Awais Amber while speaking on the occasion said that the aim of scholarship is to encourage more parents from minority communities to send their children for higher education and lighten their financial burden on technical education.


It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans campus is located on Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20 acres pollution   free campus.  Aryans Group has been   serving the educational and intellectual interests of the youth in a commendable manner. The group is running Engineering College, Management College, Business School, Education College, Degree College, Nursing College, Law College and Junior Science College (+1 & +2 Non Medical).
