Chandigarh based Aryans Business School (ABS) Organized Industrial Visit for its MBA Students. Around 100 MBA students visited Swaraj Mazda Company, Ropar in two different trips. Students visited various department of the company including Manufacturing, Marketing, Human Resources, Research & Development and Finance. It was a professional life experience for the students of ABS. They also put up various queries relating to management fundas to the departmental heads & got answers for the same.
The purpose of the visit was to make students aware of the various practical management aspects. Mr. P.K Bhardwaj, General Manager and Ms. Japinder Kaur, Assistant HR, Swaraj Mazda Company interacted with the students in the company. The students were allowed to have a look into the various stages involved in the process of manufacturing of various products including passenger cars, buses, trucks, ambulances and other vehicles. Each group was accompanied by an officer from the company who explained each and every stage of the process involved.
Anshu Kataria, Chairman, ABS said that such industrial visits would enhance the practical knowledge about management. The various management concepts being taught in the classrooms get clarified after experiencing them physically in the industry itself. He added that such visits would continue to be there for MBA students so that they can learn the concepts with a better approach. Industrial visit was an excellent opportunity for the students to understand the complexities faced by companies in various stages.
