Foreign Faculty Taught Supply Chain Management at Aryans

Aryans Business School (ABS) today organized a Seminar on “Global perspectives in Supply Chain Management”. Mrs. Roopali khurana, Faculty, Fontys University of Applied Science, Netherland, was the Chief Guest & key Note Speaker. The event was presided by Anshu Kataria, Chairman, ABS.



While Addressing MBA Students, Mrs. Roopali khurana said that, “Supply chain management (SCM) is the management of a network of interconnected businesses involved in the ultimate provision of (business), product and Service (economics) packages required by end customers. Supply Chain Management spans all movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption (supply chain).”She also enlightened about the Supply Chain Management system in Philips.



"Logistics management is emerging as one of the fastest growing segments in the express industry. Shortened life cycles, increased competition, and heightened expectations from customers have forced many leading edge companies to move from physical logistic management towards specialized supply chain management", Mrs. Roopali added.



It is to be mentioned here that, she is working as a faculty in Fontys University of Applied Science, Netherland. She is specialized in business Statistics, Supply Chain Management Logistics. Other persons who were their in  the seminar , Prof D.C.kataria, Vice Chairman, Aryans Group; Dr.B.B.Tandon,Professor Emeritus, ABS & Senior Advisor IBS, Chandigarh.; Dr.Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group; & Dr.D.P.Singh, Director .
