Aryans Business School organized Candle Light March to on UN Disarmament week

Around 350 MBA, BBA students of Aryans Business School (ABS) and Aryans School of Management (ASM) today organized a Candle Light Peace March in Mohali. The march was organized to celebrate United Nation Disarmament Week (24th -30th Oct).

Students displayed the placards and raised the slogans like “Act before the Weapons Act” “Peaceful Disarmament”; “Give Peace a Chance”; “Nuclear Power? No thanks”; “Speak out for Disarmament”; etc. It is to be mentioned that UN Disarmament Week is celebrated from 24th -30th Oct. as annual observance of Disarmament Week which begins on the anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.

Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of institutes said while addressing the gathering said that Weapons of Mass Destruction and Conventional Arms are big threat to the humanity and peace in the world. He said that the objective of this march is to aware masses about disarmament campaign by United Nations.

Kataria added that students, staff and management of Aryans would highlight the danger of the arms race, propagate the need for its cessation and increase public understanding of the urgent tasks of disarmament.

Dr. D. P. Singh, Director we should put efforts in creating awareness about Disarmament with which we can contribute in making the world peaceful.
