Aryans Business School (ABS) held a condolence meeting here on Saturday to mourn the sad demise of their Chief Mentor Prof S.P.Singh at its campus at village Nepra (Banur), Chandigarh-Patiala Highway. Around 350 students, members of staff & Management gathered to pay homage and offered floral tributes to the portrait of the late Prof S.P.Singh. This was followed by multi-religious prayers. Then the condolence motion was being read out and all people observed a two-minute silence for the peace departure of Soul.
It is mentioned here that, Prof S.P.Singh passed away on Thursday (01-10-09) after brief illness. He was a Former Dean & Chairman, University Business School (UBS), PU; Past President, Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) & Chief Mentor, Aryans Business School (ABS). Hundreds of Industrialists, Management Experts & Academician attended his cremation on Friday.
His contributions in management have been tremendous & widely acknowledged by academia & industry. He worked on various research projects at Lucknow University and IIM Ahmedabad. He did his Ph.D and taught at Colorado (USA). He rendered valuable services as Member Advisory Committee (Projects), Punjab Financial Corporation (PFC)
