Dr. Anshu Kataria gets Young Entrepreneur Award

Teacher turned Journalist turned Entrepreneur, Dr. Anshu Kataria (33), chairman of Aryans Group of Institutes (AGOI) has been honoured with Young Entrepreneur Award. The award was given in Indo-Thai Friendship Conference held in Bangkok on 13th Nov 2009.



The award was given by Thailand Labour minister, H.E. Mr. Paitoon Kaewthong; Mr. D. K. Bakshi (Executive Director, India Thai Chamber of Commerce); S. Joginder Singh (former Director CBI and chairman, India International Friendship Society) in an International Conferences held in 5 Star Hotel Grand Sukhumvit, Bangkok. India International Friendship Society also awarded around 40 academicians, educationist, entrepreneurs from India and Thailand in various categories in this conference.



Dr. Anshu Kataria is a well Known name in academic circles in Northern India. Rise from a school drop out in 9th class to Doctorate from UBS, Panjab University, Chandigarh and from a Govt college lecturer to the Chairman of fast growing chain of five Management Institutes at the age of 33 is a story that will inspire many more entrepreneurs.



It is to be mentioned that 12 years back, his 32nd rank in an UBS entrance in 1996 could not get him easy entry in his dream institution like University Business School (UBS), Panjab University. This ignited a spark in him to set up his own Business School. After 12 years with hard work he could achieve what he decided. He started with position of Lecturer in Govt College, Muktsar and left job as CEO in swift education before starting his own chain of business schools.



Recently, Dr. Kataria has been awarded special achievement award by Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) in building institutions for providing quality education for the youth. He is also recipient of Shiksha Bharati Puruskar, Rashitriya Saraswati Vidya Puruskar



Mr. Anshu Kataria is very dynamic, daring, dedicated, and enterprising by nature. After fighting long for his career, he established Aryans group of Institutions which is running five Management Schools and an undergraduate college at village Nepra, Chandigarh-Rajpura road.
