Following the tradition of last 4 years, this time also in the beginning of winters Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) organized a function at the "Institute for the Blind", Sector–26, Chandigarh today to distribute winter wear to blind students. Prof. D. C. Kataria "Roshan Lal", Vice Chairman, Aryans Group distributed winter wear, sweets and fruits to around 150 students.
On this occasion, the students presented a cultural program in which they sang a welcome song & few patriotic songs. Akhil, Halima, Mamta and few other students presented their talent by singing solo songs. The function was graced by Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman(AGC); Mrs. Rajni Kataria; Finance Secretary(AGC); Dr. (Mrs.) Parveen Kataria, General Secretary(AGC) and Mr.K.R.Sood, Principal (Instt.for Blind).The whole cultural program was coordinated by Ms. Kuljeet Kaur & Mr. Rajesh Arya, music teachers at the school.
Dr.Anshu Kataria said that from last 4 years, under its Corporate Social Responsibility Plan, every year AGC distribute winter wear at Institute for Blind in December and celebrate Lohri at Old Age Home, Sector-15 in January. He further said that we will continue to discharge our social responsibilities in future also.
